Lip Gloss Swap Loot!

A very sweet package arrived last week.
It was from Holly at Precisely Holly.
I recently discovered her blog, and I've become a big fan.
She likes a lot of the same things as I do, I love her blog style, and her taste in many things so I was so excited when I was paired up with her for this swap!
It was adorably decorated with Hello Kitty duct tape, and I couldnt wait to get inside and check out my loot!!!
Here's what she sent!
A sweet little note, and 4 amazing products that I've been using all week.
 Mascara:
Lash Discovery - Holly wrote in her note that she uses this for bottom lashes, and now, SO DO I!
They really made my lashes POP! I never thought to use a separate mascara for bottom lashes! Thanks for the tip Girl!
Maybelline "the falsies" Mascara - I love the contoured brush, and the rich black color.
I was in desperate need for a new mascara.. I love this one!
 Lips!
Maybelline NEW Baby Lips Lip Balm - I've been using this every day.
I stuck it in my diaper bag, and since we've been at parks and outside ALL THE TIME, it has SPF in it as well, so I feel like Im protecting my lips at the same time.
Color Riche Balm - with SPF also.. I havent tried this one yet.. but the shade is fairly neutral which I love.. and Im always switching my lip glosses.. and loosing them too.. so Im sure this one will get plenty use in time
Thank you Holly for all my new loot for my makeup bag!
It was my first time participating in a "swap" and it was so much fun.. I cant wait to do another one!
I had so much fun shopping and sending my package to Holly as well.. check out what I sent her at

Last Easter 2009, Gifts & Packing to Hit the Road!

So this was last Easter in North Carolina. I was pregnant with Samantha & Mom & Rich came down to visit Mathew, George and I in Surf City. These pics were taken before we went to Easter Sunday Mass at our little outdoor church in S. City.

We had a great time with the fam, hanging at the beach, we went to Wilmington to our favorite among all favorite sushi restaurants www.nikkissushibar.com.

I remember being really emotional and sad when my Mom left. I think I was scared to death of giving birth, and afraid that Mathew and I would be alone and she would miss it.. little did I know what was in store for me in the next 10 weeks to come...She made it not only for the birth, but was there 4 days before and 5 days after because I was in the hospital for a week straight..(that story will be for another post)

How different life is just 1 year later. I cant wait to take pictures on Easter Sunday with our little bubba! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby in our lives, I cant imagine life without her, or imagine what we did with all our free time, ha!

Today Im packing for our road trip to Ohio to see Mathew's Family for Easter. Samantha is fighting a little cold .. poor bubba, she was up last night so upset because she was all stuffed up and couldnt breathe.

So she was satisfied with looking out the window today.. watching a few utility men working on a power line.. haha!

I called the Dr's office, but they said its a virus, and not much we can do but let it work itself out.. sheesh.. So we're hoping she will start getting better especially when we're in Ohio!

Here she is looking at the cute Easter Bunny card cousin Jillian sent her in the mail.. It is fuzzy, so she was playing with it, then tried eating it.

And Lastly.. Our sweet Auntie Shauna surprised Samantha with these adorable onesies that came in the mail from Seattle yesterday!! They are so great and they are big, because we are a growing girl, so we can wear them for a long time! Thank you Auntie we love and miss you!!!
